Elings Park
Elings Park is a 230-acre private, non-profit park open to the public. It is one of Santa Barbara’s most beautiful gathering places for nature, athletics, and culture. It hosts weddings, special events, recreation activities, sports leagues, and more. The park offers baseball diamonds, two soccer fields, tennis courts, an amphitheater, hang/paragliding, a BMX track, picnic areas, and a playground. While offering ample recreational facilities, just over 50% of the park remains natural and wild.
Elings Park North is where you’ll find the park’s sports fields, the Veterans’ Memorial Walk, as well as most of its wedding and event venues. Elings Park South offers hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, hanggliding, and horse riding trails. Picnic areas can be found throughout the entirety of the park.
Located near Arroyo Burro Beach and the Douglas Family Preserve, Elings Park has incredible views of the city and ocean. It is just half a mile from Santa Barbara City’s municipal golf course.
