Parque de los Niños is a small neighborhood park in Santa Barbara’s lower Westside which was in 1996. It features a playground, a children’s orchard and vegetable garden, and grassy lawn areas.

The park’s playground features two play structures, one designed for children ages 2-5 and the other for kids 5-12. There is also a small swing set with swings for babies and young children.

An added benefit of Parque de los Niños is that the a large percentage of the park is shaded making it a good option on sunny days. It is fully-enclosed by a low fence for added safety.

The train also runs adjacent to the park which can be fun for children who enjoy trains and waving to the passengers.
