Kid’s World is one of Santa Barbara’s most loved parks. Located downtown, on the northwest corner of Alameda Park, Kids World is a playground for kids between the ages of 2-12. The park was built by local residents in 1993 and has hundreds of tiles featuring handprints from children in the community.

The 8,000 square foot playground features a castle, swings, slides, bridges, a shark, a whale, and more. There are numerous picnic tables, including two reservable picnic sites – “The Castle” and “The Whale” – both of which seat approximately 30 people.

Situated within Alameda park, Kid’s World is across the street from Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens and conveniently located near the commercial area of downtown Santa Barbara.
