Ambassador Park is a passive park without amenities located across Cabrillo Boulevard from West Beach. Lined on both sides by palm trees, the park has nice views of the ocean and is a grassy picnic spot.

The site is also home to a California Historic Landmark signifying the location of what once was Burton Mound, a former Chumash Village.
