Alameda Park

Alameda Park is a two-block park in downtown Santa Barbara. As one of the city’s oldest parks, it is home to a variety of rare trees that provide ample shade and are detailed for viewers in The Alameda Plazas Self-Guided Tree Tour.

While most of the park is manicured grassy area, there is also a bandstand, benches, and numerous picnic sites. The main feature is Kid’s World, an 8,000 square foot playground in the northwest corner of the park that includes a castle, swings, slides, and two reservable party sites.

Located downtown Santa Barbara, across from Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens, Alameda Park hosts a number of local events every year including a Solstice celebration and an Earth Day celebration.
